About Alyssa

I'm passionate about helping students unlock their potential. With a college degree and one year of experience, I create engaging, supportive, and patient learning environments. I vary my teaching strategies with visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems to meet individual needs. I tutor Math and English for elementary and middle school students. I celebrate small successes and provide positive reinforcement to keep students motivated. Open communication is essential for understanding student needs and progress. Seeing a student's confidence grow is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I am CPR and First Aid trained. I'd love to help your student succeed!
