About Alyssa

During the day, I work as a university lecturer and an allied healthcare professional (athletic trainer), but during the weekends and evenings, I love hanging out with kiddos! I have many years of experience as a general babysitter, short-term nanny, and child care aide through numerous sites and families. I have cared for infants all the way through adults needing assistance, and have extensive experience with kids and adults with specific needs. I have held tutoring positions for all grade levels, and like to focus on engaging kids mentally, physically, and emotionally. Reading, learning activities, crafts, music, dance, games and physical activities are all at the top of my list! As a bonus for the summer months -- I have 10 years lifeguarding experience (including open water) & another 5 as a swim lesson instructor.
