About Alyssa

Hi! My name is Alyssa, and I'm a recent UCLA graduate with a degree in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics. I'm looking for a part-time babysitting position with a family in the area! I have several years of childcare experience, including working as a childcare supervisor at Mount Madonna School with children ages 4-11, as well as babysitting for families in both the Bay Area and Los Angeles with children ages 3-12. I absolutely love working with kids and enjoy planning fun activities like arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, games, and movie nights. I'm also passionate about education and STEM! I have tutoring experience through Teach For America's Ignite Fellowship, where I tutored sixth graders in math, and I worked as a learning assistant for a UCLA Biology lab course. I'm happy to help with homework, transportation, light chores, and errands as well. I'm responsible, patient, and energetic, and would love to become someone your family can rely on!
