About Alyssa

Empowering students to reach their full potential drives my approach to education. With a college degree and a year of experience, I specialize in Math and English for elementary through high school students. I believe in fostering a love for learning by building confidence and developing critical thinking skills. I assess your unique learning style through active listening and by adapting my methods--whether through visual aids, discussions, or hands-on practice. When concepts feel challenging, I break them down into manageable steps and connect them to your personal interests to keep you engaged. I prioritize clear, consistent communication with both you and your parents to ensure we meet your goals together. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing your "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I am truly passionate about helping you grow and succeed in your academic journey.
