About Alyssa

I'd describe my personality as friendly , patient, and knowledgeable! I like tutoring because I love helping students build confidence, understand challenging concepts, and realize their full potential! I know how hard it is being in a classroom and asking for help in front of other peers, and I want students to feel supported and never alone in their learning! I'm looking for a job that lets me support students in reaching their academic goals, while continuing to develop my own teaching experience! I started tutoring when I watch teaching 6th grade math at Tiverton Middle School 4 years ago! In my spare time, I like to read, go to the beach, play pickleball, and hang out with my friends and family! One thing you should know about me is I love teaching! Especially watching my students light up with they start gaining confidence through learning! My skills include being organized, engaging, encouraging, and teaching to the whole student by getting to know how they learn!
