About Alyssa

As the eldest of my siblings, I have had experience caring for littles from a very young age. This led me to look into nannying as I got older, and is something that I'm really passionate about. I've had a wide range of experience working with children, from homeschool settings, to live in nannying with varying ages from infant to teens. I love to fit into your life and fill in where you have need. While I don't have a teaching certificate, I am working towards getting certified to be a substitute teacher here in the Deschutes Country school district. I like working with kids because they have such a fresh perspective on the world. I love watching them learn who they are as they encounter the world around them as they develop. It's a joy to see them experience wonder and help them through the bigger feelings of fear and overwhelm too.
