About Alyssa

Hi! My name is Alyssa, and I'm a warm, reliable sitter based in downtown Manhattan. I work full-time in clinical research at Mount Sinai and am looking for evening and weekend babysitting, especially date nights, occasional care, and recurring part-time help. I started babysitting in high school for two neighborhood children under age 10, and later worked as a tennis pro, camp counselor, and camp director at Redding Country Club with children ages 3-12. I'm comfortable keeping kids engaged and supported, whether that means playing outside, helping with homework, preparing simple meals/snacks, or creating a calm bedtime routine. I also spent about four years coordinating pediatric clinical trials, which helped me communicate calmly and thoughtfully with children and parents. I'm very involved in my nieces' lives - they're 6 and 3 and call me Sasa- so I'm familiar with the patience, silliness, routines, and flexibility that come with caring for young kids.
