About Alyssa

Hi, my name is Alyssa. I am 23 years old and currently working on getting my bachelors in psychology with an emphasis in childcare. I have 5 years experience as a professional nanny. I have provided exceptional care to infants, toddlers, elementary age kids, and special needs. In addition, I have 212 community classroom hours volunteering at a preschool. It was a great experience and where I grown to love working with children. While I was there, I learned to demonstrate awareness of rules, communicate effectively with children and take initiative in working with individuals or groups. I had prepared and presented lessons and activities that were fun, educational and stimulating, such as: storytelling and/or puppets, art, music/movement, arts and crafts as well as a lot of outdoor activities. I am trustworthy, reliable, honest, nurturing, fun but firm when needed, and clean and organized.
