Hello! Although I am new to this platform, childcare is nothing new to me! I spent the majority of high school babysitting children in my neighborhood. Throughout college, I spent two summers working for the City of Redondo Beach as a summer camp counselor where I worked with children aged 6-12 years old. I graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences and got a job as an assistant at a preschool in LA! I am CPR certified as well. Makena is incredible! I've used her many times and she's now my go-to. Very reliable and engaging. When we came home the first time, every toy was pulled out and so I knew there was very little screen time and a lot of play time. Makena is also very calm and professional. She has a background in education and is used to dealing with a lot of children at once and probably stressful situations. I highly recommend Makena and trust her fully to take care of my little one!
