About Alyssa

My name is Alyssa and I am an 27-year-old graduate student. During the last three years I have been a speech therapist in a public school, private practice, and a severe special educational center. I have worked with children 1. 5 years to 22 years old as a speech therapist, and have cared for children as young as newborns. I also have three years of experience working with adults with traumatic brain injuries in a residential setting. I have extensive experience working with nonspeaking individuals and AAC as well as those diagnosed with Autism, Global Development Delay, anxiety, and various mood disorders. I am first aid certified and have completed trauma informed care training.
