About Alyssa

My name is Alyssa and I am a full-time pediatric speech language pathologist looking to support families on my off time. I have 5 years of experience working with children ages 1. 5 through 22 on speech and language skills. I also have an additional 10 years of experience with babysitting and caretaking. I am trained in first aid, CPR, and trauma-informed care. I have extensive experience caring and advocating for nonspeaking and nonconversational individuals, as well as AAC users. I have moderate knowledge of American Sign Language, and have experience working with the Deaf and hard of hearing population. I also have experience with adults regarding aphasia, dementia, Alzhiemer's disease, MS, and various mood disorders. I hope that I can help your family with your caretaking needs!
