Hi! I'm Alyssa and I live in the Gentilly area with my husband and our 2 cats. I'm searching for a family to nanny for full or part time. I have open availability Monday-Friday. I'm open to all areas on the East Bank of New Orleans. I have nannied and babysat off and on since I was in high school (about 18 years). I have experience with children of all ages from infancy to high school. Most recently I have been full time with a family of an 11-month-old from 10/2024 until 6/2025. I have an insured, safe vehicle, and a clean driving record should transportation be needed. I love outings - particularly the Children's Museum, Play Castle at Lakeside, and exploring all of City Park. My goal is to always create a fun, safe, educational, and loving experience. I'm a non-smoker and pet friendly. I'm happy to take on household chores, errands, and light meal prep.

We hired Alyssa to watch our 2 children, ages 5 and 8, while we were at a 4 day conference in New Orleans, and we couldn't have been happier. From the beginning, she came fully prepared, with a clear schedule and a thoughtful itinerary of activities in the city. That kind of preparation stood out to me and showed her commitment to delivering high-quality care. She went above and beyond to keep the kids engaged, not just keeping them occupied, but also ensuring they had fun (while staying totally safe) the entire time. What stood out most was her attention to detail: she took the time to figure out what each child was interested in; for example, my son loves Legos, so they made a trip to the Lego store. It meant A LOT. She was always on time and she sent us pictures and check ins throughout the day. If we’re ever back in New Orleans, we wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again 😊
