As a teacher and a caregiver, I possess many qualities that parents look for in a person caring for their children. I have 13 years of experience as a special education teacher, and 4 years of experience providing part-time and full-time in-home care for special needs children. I was a nanny for 2 years in NY for a family with 4 children. This past year I taught at a private early-childhood literacy school. In addition, I have my bachelors in Special Education and Elementary Education and my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction in Reading. I am very passionate about helping children to succeed! As a babysitter, you can count on me to not just watch your children, but also engage them, and teach them! Every experience is a learning experience. I have worked with various children ranging from students with learning disabilities, to non-verbal, and intellectually disabled children. I love caring for, helping and teaching children!
