I started babysitting children ages 3-8 in high school. My parents began fostering children ages 0-4 while I was in high school as well. During college I worked at a private child care agency in Palo Alto, California with children ages 0-11-year-olds. I also worked at a YMCA during the spring and summer of 2012 with children ages 5-8. I began my job of teaching at a Christian school during the Fall of 2012. I love my job and enjoy working with all children in any capacity. I love reading and playing volleyball. The most rewarding aspect of caring for children is being able to teach them through many different mediums like arts, crafts, cooking, sports etc. I am a young, energetic experienced child care professional.

Alysa cared for my daughter full time during the summer and sometimes for my son when he didn't have school. She was great, she was always on time, not flaky, loves to teach her new things (since she is a teacher) and she walked to the park with her almost everyday. I would hire her again in a heartbeat.
