About Aliza

I have worked extensively with children as a babysitter, camp counselor and teaching assistant. In high school, I babysat regularly for 6-8 families in my Bethesda, Maryland neighborhood, caring for children ages 5 months - 10 years. I also frequently volunteered with children ages 3-6 at Discovery Creek Summer camp and the Youth summer program at the YMCA. In 2015 I worked as a teaching assistant at Whole Kids Academy, a bilingual preschool focusing on Spanish language immersion for children 1-6, and volunteered as an after school tutor at Southwark Elementary in South Philly. I am passionate about caregiving and a very creative, energetic person. I'm also a yoga teacher! My favorite activities are reading, drawing, and exploring parks and museums. I feel very comfortable working with children 2 and up, and giving homework help to kids ages 5-14. References available upon request.
