About Alexa

I'd describe my personality as gentle, responsible, and outgoing. I like working with kids because they bring joy into the lives of all who get to interact with them. Being a part of their life and growth is the most rewarding and fulfilling experience to me. I started working with kids when I was in middle school and started volunteering at my church's early childhood education program. This was the beginning of my journey working with kids and now I have a year of experience working with kids ages 6 weeks to 5 years in a preschool setting and 6 to 18 years as a camp counselor, program director, and camp director. In my spare time, I like to spend time with friends and family, cook and bake, connect with nature on hikes or on the water, and move my body by dancing or going to the gym.
