About Alysa

I'd describe my personality as caring, respectful, and responsible. I like working with kids because they are our future. I'm looking for a job that is built on mutual respect. I will always respect you, your children, and your home! I started working with kids when I was in high school in 2018 as a babysitter, in 2022/23 I worked in a daycare while continuing to babysit, and last summer I worked in a daycare as a school aged camp teacher! I have also been in and out of IPS middle and high schools as a student intern and student teacher over the last four years. In my spare time, I like to craft and spend time outside. One thing you should know about me is I just completed my bachelor degree in secondary English education with a licensing addition of English as a new language. I will start my career at an IPS middle school in late July but I have experience with children infant to high school! My skills include educational play, conflict resolution, and navigating big feelings!
