About Aly

I'm a Mama to three incredible, not so little humans. I've been home with them for the past 14 ish years. I've been married to my favorite adventure partner for 16 years, and they're really not kidding when they say "time flies." Prior to having my own children I worked for three years as a nanny. The little boy I cared for (ages 8-11) had special needs and was blind. He was also silly and stubborn and extraordinary. We learned so much alongside one another, much of which I carried into my role as mother. I also have experience working in a daycare where I mostly cared for ages 2 and under. I have four years of paid childcare experience and over 14 years of unpaid experience, though I would absolutely insist that it has been a worthy and rewarding career path. I'm looking for a job that provides me with the opportunity to spend some time and energy outside of the home, while still maintaining the balance that I have created as a stay at home parent for my own children.
