I'm passionate about unlocking every student's unique potential through personalized support. My teaching philosophy centers on building confidence and cultivating a genuine love for learning, moving beyond rote memorization. I create engaging and patient learning environments for all students. I actively listen to students and observe their interactions with new material to assess their individual learning styles. I vary my teaching strategies, incorporating visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples and celebrate every success. Communication is essential for understanding student needs and setting clear expectations. With three years of experience and a college degree, I specialize in Special Education for elementary students. I am comfortable working with pets and am CPR and First Aid certified. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring.
