I have raised children for over 20 years. In India, where I have spent most of my life, I raised not only my children (one of which went on to study in one of the most prestigious universities in Mumbai, and the other is now studying in Downers Grove North High School), but the children of neighbors, family members, and friends, as well. In India, parents take a central role in the education of their children, and I am no exception. I have tutored extensively in the areas of English, Hindi, Gujarati, Algebra, Geometry, and Indian History, in addition to Biology, Chemistry and Physics. In my years as a caretaker and homemaker, I have mastered the art of creating structured environments that are conducive to learning, exploration and happiness.
