I have experience in many different aspects of care jobs. I have volunteered with the local Special Olympics for 8 years, so I am comfortable assisting those with both physical and mental handicaps. I have been involved in child/safety care for 8 years babysitting, camp counseling, life guarding, and teaching swim instruction. In addition, as I babysit for a specific family, I am also responsible for assisting the children's elderly handicapped grandmother. Thus, I have experience assisting people with mental and physical illness ranging in age from 8 to 70 years old. I have been responsible for the care, entertainment and safety of children as young as newborns to 16 years old, and everything in between.
