Since I was young I would help my grandparents with their foster children in respite and long term care, being one of the older kids in the household. At age 13 I started volunteering in my churches nursery and worked my way up to paid nursery duty as well as caring for children up to age 12. I've personally cared for elderly, multiple children at a time, and kept up with errands and household duties needed to maintain a well organized environment. I have several skills in several diverse areas and I'm a quick learner, once a new task is introduced, I work to the best of my ability to exceed or proficiently complete tasks provided. My interests include art, especially photography, music, and theater. I'm outgoing, professional and fun to be around. I'm currently in school working on my social work degree. I haven't decided whether or not to focus on children, youth and families or geriatrics but I'm working hard to finish school and become stable in my professional and financial lives.
