About Allison

With over 25 years of experience as an educator, performing artist, and youth theatre director, I help students build skill, critical thinking, and confidence in writing, literary analysis, public speaking, and performance. I hold an M. A. in Theatre Education from the University of Northern Colorado and a B. S. in English, Speech, and Theatre Education from Purdue University, including intensive study at Oxford University. My background includes years as a high school Language Arts teacher and theatre director, professional acting training with Second City and the Actors Studio, and directing youth productions at The Arts HUB. I balance social-emotional growth with academic depth, ensuring students feel safe, seen, and valued as they discover their strengths and excel from middle school through college.
