About Allison

Hi, my name is Allison! I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and experience as an assistant toddler teacher where I regularly support children's development through play-based learning, routine building, emotional regulation, and compassionate care. My background in Psychology gives me a strong understanding of child development and behavior, and I love creating environments where children feel safe, supported, and understood! I also adhere to best practices relating to sanitation, food prep, diapering, and caregiving in general. Before beginning my teaching role, I spent over 3 years providing childcare for three children under 10, gaining experience with everything from homework help, meal time, and fun, engaging activities. I greatly value building positive relationships with both children and parents.
