About Allison

I'd describe my personality as honest, adaptable, cheerful, and kind. My skills include strong communication, creative thinking, empathy, and remaining calm under pressure. I like working with kids because it provides an opportunity to build positive relationships. I also enjoy the unique perspective of children which challenges me to think creatively. I started working with kids when I was 12. I have since babysat for families within my neighborhood and through the preschool ministry at my church. One thing about me is that I am pursuing my bachelors degree in English. My intent is to become an English teacher after graduation. My goal is to gain relevant experience working with children and develop connections with families in the community. I'm looking for a job that allows me to foster my teaching skills. I would like a position that allows me to create a fun and engaging environment. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, walking my dog, listening to music, and cooking.
