About Allison

I'm an experienced caregiver with a passion for helping children thrive and grow. I have experience in child care including nannying and I'm returning to the field after several years of working in child/adolescent inpatient mental health. My patience, calm demeanor, and friendly nature put kids at ease, allowing them to feel safe and supported. I'm also comfortable enforcing household rules, having experience working with children who struggle with behavioral or mental health issues. I believe in open communication with parents, using their preferred method to discuss their child's day and any concerns that arise. When it's time to play, I love engaging children in outdoor sports, board games, and educational activities that make learning fun. I also love to utilize community activities like library and park outings. I'm available to care for one or more child, from infants to preteens, and I have a bachelors degree in psychology with a minor in child and adolescent development.
