Hi! I had my CNA/HHA certificates over 20+ years ago & worked in a long term home facility for a short while as well as working independently in people's homes. I had my first child in 1999 & my second child in 2000. I then became a stay at home mom. In 2008 I went to work in the school cafeteria for the De Soto school district for 5 years before returning to Home Health. I have done Home health since late 2013. I do errands within reason, light meal prep, light housekeeping, bathing, companionship. I have a flexible schedule, but I can not commit to a consistent schedule. I prefer to do respite care, if a caregiver needs a break or back up type of thing. I am trustworthy, reliable, patient & empathetic. I understand that some elderly people don't want help, especially from a stranger. I do my best to be patient & understanding, giving grace for the client to warn up to me if need be.
