About Mykala

I was raised by my grandmother, who played a major role in shaping the person I am today. She taught me the importance of kindness gave me a deep respect for older adults and the wisdom they have to share. I enjoy building relationships with my patients, listening to their stories, and helping them maintain their dignity and comfort. I am a college student currently seeking a position of approximately 30 hours per week. I have a couple of mornings unavailable due to class but am committed to maintaining a dependable schedule. My top three senior care skills are compassion, personal care assistance, and adaptability. I have experience assisting with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and mobility. I have also worked in multiple care settings, including home health, hospice, assisted living, and long-term care, which has strengthened my ability to adapt to different patient needs and care plans.
