About Allison

Allison took care of my mother who had mild dementia and some mobility issues, but was determined to live independently at home. She helped her daily for a total of about 25 hours a week. I called Allison my angel from the first week. She truly is extraordinary! She was in complete charge of medicine management, going to the grocery store, getting takeout, making mom food, leaving her plates -making sure everything was labeled and organized. she took mom to pedicure and hair appointments and any else she needed to go. She was so patient because this required a walker and a lot of extra time. She helped mom with hygiene and getting a shower and everything was done with such love and respect and dignity. She communicated with me daily and kept exact notes of how long she worked. She so gently and wonderfully gave me tips on other things that could make the house safer like a better set up for inside the shower and more handrails, etc. she had experience and I didn’t so I valued her opinion and her input daily. She was very familiar with elderly dementia and knew how to talk to Mom and how to engage her parents . She’s talkative and happy and kind and trustworthy . I simply could not recommend Allison enough. We would not have been able to keep my mom in her house that long without Allison.
