Hi! My name is Allison and I am an occupational therapy graduate student! I'm from Iowa but have lived here in Arizona for a few years working full-time in a hospital setting before returning to school! I am looking to help you care for your family while completing my schooling and am excited to work with you! I like caring for people with disabilities because everyone deserves the opportunity to be seen, engage in play, and be included. I have many hours of experience through respite, after school, and day hab programs with people of all ages and abilities. I currently still work one day at the hospital with adults who acquired complex medical needs after a major neurological injury. One thing you should know about me is I'm a caring, dedicated, hard working individual who will put all of my energy and personality in to care for your loved one. My skills include being empathetic, promoting independence in a structured environment, and finding fun in the little things.
