I majored in speech, language, and hearing sciences with a focus in delayed communication and development. I studied typical and atypical childhood development, learned to comprehensively asses children for language and speech disorders, and was educated on multiple correlated disabilities among other things. I have worked as a paid paraprofessional with communicatively delayed children ranging in ages of eight months to three years.
