About Allisa

Nurturing young minds and supporting families is my passion. As a History teacher with five years of full-time teaching experience and many additional years of babysitting experience, I have the joy of witnessing children learn and grow every day. I extend that dedication to families seeking reliable care outside the classroom. I am comfortable caring for up to five children, ages newborn and up. In addition to my classroom teaching, my graduate degree has given me insights into tutoring and supporting learners. I am patient and calm, and I follow parents' lead when enforcing household rules. I communicate updates using your preferred method. I love reading, playing board games, doing puzzles, and engaging in arts and crafts - I even run a Makers Club! I am also happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, and travel. I am very comfortable around pets of all kinds. I look forward to discussing how I can be a supportive and enriching caregiver for your family! :)
