About Allesandra
Experience: 1 yr
Hi, I'm Allesandra! I'm a Brooklyn Tech grad, so I know what it takes to get into a specialized high school and how stressful the SHSAT can feel. I scored a 790 in SAT Math and a 710 in SAT Reading, graduated with high honors in biochemistry, and start medical school next fall. I tutor SHSAT prep, SAT Math and Reading (including the digital format), middle school science, and high school biology and chemistry, including Regents prep. I explain the "why" behind each concept and teach test-day strategies like pacing, so students build confidence as well as skills. I've done research, earned my EMT license, and volunteered with kids at a Brooklyn hospital, so I'm great at keeping sessions encouraging and focused. I'm available for in-person sessions or online over Zoom. Message me with your child's grade, subject, and goals, and we can set up a short intro session.
