I have been caring for individuals with IDD since 2019 my sons aunt is on the spectrum and is non verbal so I completely understand what it like to trust someone with the needs of and individual that has IDD or cognitive abilities in general. I am extremely compassion for others as I have children and I explain to them that just because someone has a disability doesn't make them less of a person .
