I first started working with children by babysitting and continued on to work at a daycare. I have also worked as a before and after school counselor, as a supervisor of a middle school summer camp and as a behavioral health professional working with children who had behavioral goals to meet. I have worked with children from infancy to middle school aged and have enjoyed working with all different ages of children. As well as children, I enjoy working with animals too. Animals have always been a part of my life and I am comfortable feeding, walking and administering medication if needed. I currently work at a daycare as a toddler teacher, but am looking for supplemental income by doing before school care, weekend babysitting or pet sitting. For babysitting my range is $15-$20 an hour For pet sitting it can vary depending on the needs and the type of pets.

Allana has worked at the Hampstead Village Preschool from June 2009 until 2013. She helped with children ages 12 months through 6 years, she did her internship here and worked full days during the summer months. She completed the Child Care Licensing Orientation on June 12, 2013 Allana is a very dedicated and responsible person. She is willing to go above and beyond to help with the children. She is a wonderful team player; her co-workers have enjoyed working with her in the classroom. She is more than willing to take on any task that is given to her, and asks pertinent questions if she does not know how to perform a task. My opinion of Allana is that she is a person of high character, has excellent communication skills, is willing to learn and will excel in all that she does. I would not hesitate to recommend Allana for employment with children. Kathy
