About Alissa

I've had experience with children under the age of 12 for many years, starting as a volunteer at my church nursery as a pre-teen. I am comfortable with children who may need specialized attention around learning, and have worked with a few children who need a bit more grace and patience when it comes to focusing on the "boring stuff". I excel at finding unique ways to make chores and tasks more fun, as well as helping children master skills that they can be proud of. As a person with food allergies myself, I am extremely attentive to dietary restrictions and am comfortable administering epinephrine if an allergic reaction should occur. I took CPR several years ago, and am looking to be re-certified.
