About Alison

I have extensive childcare experience spanning from the age of 11, when I began helping raise and care for my younger siblings. Over the years, I have professionally babysat children of military service members, caring for children ranging from infants to pre-teens. I have also regularly cared for my niece and nephew, including children with special needs. My military background has provided me with valuable medical and field training, strengthening my ability to remain calm under pressure, respond to emergencies, and prioritize children's safety. In addition to my individual childcare experience, I volunteer with Girl Scouts of Maine, where I work with children in group settings and help support a safe, positive, and engaging environment. This has strengthened my ability to supervise multiple children, manage group activities, and accommodate different personalities and needs. Through Girls Scouts of Maine, I have also received CPR training through the American Red Cross.
