About Alison

Hi, my name is Allie. I have been working with seniors since 1999. First through Hope Network many years ago and since 2021 I have been providing home health care, companion care, and being a "helper" for elderly people in their homes. I am experienced with caring for parapalegic people and have used hoyer sling lifts. I offer hospice care as nurse support, as well as companion care where we garden, craft, or play games alongside practical household chores or aide-level medical tasks. I coordinate & can attend doctor appointments, grocery shop, help with toileting, feeding, and bathing. I'm happy to do anything around the house that I'm able to help with. Most recently, I provided hospice care for a lovely 101-year-old woman who lived independently & a mobility-challenged 82-year-old who lived in a skilled care center. I love to garden, collect rocks, play scrabble, camp, and travel. I am married & a mother to four sons and a cat. I'm interested in working 1-3 mornings per week.
