About Alison

Hi, I'm Alison. I met my husband at camp, was a nanny, and have an Elementary Education degree. My oldest son is a junior at JMU and my youngest is a junior in high school. Now that I'm animal free, (had 7), I'm looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity where I will be welcomed as part of the family. I have senior care experience with my parents who are 78 and 80, and filling in for a friend's father's caregiver. I would like the family to know upfront that I do not drive in ice and snow. Why I am interested in being a companion for someone, my Grand-mom. We talked every day. She never drove, told everyone how she had all of her "original parts", and knew every grandkids and great grandkids schedules. She volunteered and cooked for everyone. In 2018, at 100, I lost her. I am looking to find a special person who will enjoy my company as much I will enjoy theirs. I look forward to hearing from you. :)
