I have a special place in my heart for the elderly as I spent time as a live-in care taker for my sweet grandmother who suffered from dementia and other chronic health conditions. I have reliable transportation, and am a very tidy and organized person. I have nutrition education appropriate to support healthy food preparation, weight management and overall monitoring of chronic conditions (such as heart disease, DM, CKD, HTN, obesity). On a professional level, I have +5 yrs working in long term care as a dietitian, 6+ years as an in home caretaker. I have been trained in Alzheimer's/dementia care, and in CPR/first aid. I have experience working with mobility issues and quadriplegics.

Alisha cares so deeply for people in general, but especially seniors, who are often overlooked in our society. She wants them to enjoy their remaining years--living how they want to, but she also wants them to be healthy and live long, meaningful lives. She is extremely helpful & accommodating. She is the first to jump in and help friends and families at social gatherings. She is a wonderful listener, and has the biggest heart of anyone I've ever met. When she tries anything, she gives 100% and doesn't leave tasks unfinished. I'd trust her to care for my aging loved ones, and would trust her to take care of myself if I was unable to.
