About Alisa

I have 20+! years of experience, caring for elderly and disabled. A lot of experience with Alzheimer's and dementia as well as Parkinson's and rheumatoid arthritis. I have done hospice care, but at this time I would prefer not to. I have a tendency to get too attached to my clients. I have a huge place in my heart for the elderly. I am happy to help with light housekeeping, meal preparation. Helping with ADL's, I believe the longer a senior is encouraged to help themselves (with assistance if needed & close monitoring) & be as independent as possible the better. Another thing that really is big to me is treating them with respect as they deserve to be treated. It's amazing but a little bit of respect goes a really long way in building relationship.
