Before beginning my professional nanny career I worked for Hospice, caring for elderly patients, so I have been in the professional care taking industry for over 20 years. I've held many full-time positions from birth through the first few years. My approach to nannying is gentle, kind and respectful. I prefer to participate in child led activities but I also try to incorporate non- screen based activities such as music, art, crafts, reading and outdoor play. I have been tasked with meal prep, errands and school drop off/pick up in the past, and have a reliable vehicle and clean driving record.

We are not from the area & hired Alicia to help during my sister's wedding. This was my first time hiring someone online. Alicia was fantastic leading up to the event. She provided me with references, texted with me, & we talked on the phone the week before the wedding weekend. Alicia watched my kids one night while they slept but we had her get there early to play with the kids so they were comfortable. She came back the next day & was with us for 13 hours during the wedding prep and the wedding. I could not have done the day without her! She even brought crafts and books with her. She provided a safe, fun place for the kids to have some down time during the day as my husband and I were in the wedding party. She had a diaper bag full of snacks to give them during the ceremony. She made sure they got dinner as we were taking photos, and even danced with them on the dance floor! The kids wanted to go back to the room with her at the end - no fighting! I highly recommend Alicia!
