About Alicia

I'm very knowledgeable about the early years of childhood development, as I've had the opportunity of developing intriguing differentiated activities to prevent summer memory lose for elementary and high school level students. I thoroughly enjoy creating varied and stimulated activities that promote opportunities of learning, and physical development. Through the park district, I have organized and facilitated fun recreational activities, modeled and maintained appropriate behaviors in public settings. I have also provided emergency child care services for families or caregivers experiencing a crisis to prevent childhood abuse or neglect. I have initiated positive interactions to assist children in developing healthy coping skills during aggressive or disruptive encounters. In addition, I enjoy participating in environments that expose children to a variety of things of their interest. Finally, it is my mission to create warm and nurturing relationships with children and caregivers.
