About Alicia

I am a creative, compassionate, hardworking individual looking for a part-time job caring for children in the Orange County area. As a graduate student, studying Multilingual Multicultural Education, I am looking to work 25-30 hours a week. I have experience working with children in a variety of settings such as: church, babysitting, nannying, swim lessons, and more. I have been teaching private swim lessons for over 5 years and have worked with children of a wide range of ages, including several on the spectrum. Being the second oldest of 4 siblings, I have had experience looking after my younger siblings from a young age and understand sibling dynamics. I have also worked with children who have experienced trauma as I have volunteered in orphanages in Mexico and Ecuador providing nanny services and an art workshop. I have a heart for children and hope to go into nonprofit work in the future, specifically working with children in foster care or in orphanages abroad.
