For the past 8 years, I've dedicated myself to helping elementary students thrive academically. With a graduate degree and as a certified teacher, I focus on building confidence and fostering a love for learning, not just memorization. I actively listen and observe how students engage with new material, varying my teaching strategies to suit their individual learning styles. I celebrate small successes and encourage curiosity. Open dialogue allows me to adapt my approach for optimal student outcomes. I have experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504). Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills is the most rewarding aspect of being a tutor. I'm comfortable tutoring in various locations and can help with Math, English, Science, Art, Special Education, and History. I have a car and am comfortable with pets, and I look forward to creating a supportive learning environment for your child.
