About Alice

Hi there! I'm Alice, and I have over a decade of baby sitting experience for kids ages 2-12. In addition to caregiving, I have experience as a substitute teacher, youth soccer coach and reading tutor. I like working with kids because they are a ton of fun and so authentically themselves. It helps me to be the same! This summer, I'm available in the Oakland area for one off or semi regular babysitting up to 15 hours per week. A bit more about me: I'm originally from Alaska and love all things outdoors. Particular favorite activities are trail running and camping. I also dabble in improv and acting and generally love being creative. Friends describe me as reliable, fun and empathetic. I am a former learning and development tech program manager mid career pivot. I'll be attending Sacramento State in the fall for Masters in Social Work, planning to become a therapist. I look forward to connecting!
