About Alice

I am a fun, loving, and patient special education teacher with 4 years of professional experience supporting children with a wide range of abilities and needs. I have worked with students from ages 3-21, including those with moderate to severe disabilities, both verbal and non-verbal. I hold a degree in Special Education and have led self-contained classrooms, designing individualized lessons and supporting each child's growth academically, socially, and emotionally. I am skilled in communication supports (AAC, PECS, visuals), BIP, and daily life skills instruction. I believe in creating safe, inclusive environments where every child feels supported and encouraged. I also have experience working with infants, preschoolers, and kindergarteners, and I can support early development through play-based learning, structured care routines, and social-emotional growth. I have my own reliable car and am happy to drive children to activities, therapy appointments, or school. Hourly rate: $30
