About Colleen

I am a professional nanny with over 10 years of child care experience and I am currently seeking a family to partner with for a full-time, long-term position as my current charges are starting daycare. A bit about me: I love working with children. I have several years of experience as both a nanny and a preschool teacher. I have a background in early education and have received training in both the Montessori and Reggio Emilia educational philosophies. I have experience working with children from infancy through preschool and I have extensive experience with toddlers. I focus on child-led play, building empathy and social skills, and modeling kindness and respect. I am also passionate about engaging children in art, music, and daily outings. I have my license and a car to take on outings, but I am also comfortable driving my employer's car. Also, I am CPR and first-aid certified.
