I retired from my job after 47 years. I have 3 years of paid experience. I worked in my church nursery with newborns to 9-month-olds on Sundays for 20+ years and loved it. I have 7 grandchildren and have kept my oldest grandson from 3 months old until they moved out of state and 3 of them one night a week for a year. I finished caring for 2 little girls 4 & 3 Monday thru Friday for the past 2 1/2 years. I started when the baby was 3 months old. The oldest little girl went to pre-K 4 this school year & the baby girl is now 3 years old and going to daycare. I cared for a 1 yr old little boy after a week the parents found out they could put him in daycare at the marine base. I also cared for a 1 yr old little girl for a month. The parents decided to move back to Chicago.

Ms Joy is the best thing that ever happened to our little family. She was a grandmother to my little boy and treated him as her own. My boy loves her and still makes sure we send pictures to her to keep in touch. If he hadn’t aged into pre-k she would still be with us. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the blessing Ms Joy is.
