As a substitute teacher, I have relearned how much I truly value the energy and perspective children bring to each day, and it has taught me what doing work that has value looks and feels like. For me, working with children, interweaving skill teaching into the day to day and having fun with them, is so gratifying. The ability to have a meaningful impact in children's lives and contribute to their success drives my passion for childcare. I hold a college degree and am a Certified Teacher, which allows me to blend educational games with creative play. Whether we are tackling puzzles or projects, playing outside, or facing something challenging, I remain patient, calm, kind and approachable.
