About Alexis
Experience: 10 yrs
I have 10 years of experience working with young children with emotional and behavioral concerns as well as special needs. Currently I've graduated from my doctoral program in clinical psychology, and I am awaiting licensure! I'm hoping to take some time to nanny while I work on studying for my licensure exam. Prior to this, I worked as the coordinator of the crisis nursery at the YWCA with children ages 0-6 for about 2 years! I have been a therapeutic preschool specialist as well and an autism services group leader. I am happy to help with school, cleaning, and errands! I love working with young children, but I am happy to work with all ages! I also love pets!! additionally, I would be happy to do some social emotional coaching and/or support children with building their confidence, coping with big feelings, or connecting through play therapy methods!
